1/3 scale 302 cu.in. Ford
This particular engine was built about 15 years ago. It's a 1/3 scale 302 cu.in. Ford engine. While working at Ford I had access to some of the engineering drawings for the cast parts. I scaled them down and adjusted them for modeling size. The remainder of the parts were copied from my full sized engine. The bore is 1inch and the stroke is .90. The entire engine is made from billet material, aluminum, iron, bronze and steel. It has a point, plug ignition system and a complete jacketed cooling system. The oil is pressurized through a conventional geared pump driven off the end of the distibutor shaft. I have about 2500 hours of construction time in this engine
