Bob Shores Pacifier V4

I have been working on a special project for the last few weeks. I am working with Dirk to complete Bob Shores Pacifier V4
The story goes that Bob had built the Pacifier as a 5/8 bore and stroke. As his health was getting worse he decided to rename
the 5/8 engine the Peewee. Bob had built the Peewee and it is pictured on the fame site. Not a lot of people know it but Bob had
the match plates done for a 3/4 bore and stroke engine. This would have been Bob's next build. Together with Dirk I plan to
complete Bob's last project and generate a set of plans so others can build one as well. The version 1.00 plans are complete and
as soon as I have a set of castings in my hands I will begin the build and proof the drawings.

There are 2 things that I have tried real hard to do.

First, I wanted to do the engine design exactly the way I think Bob would have done it. I have
made 2 changes that I wouldn't budge on. The water pump is redesigned to use ball bearings and a rubber o-ring to seal it. From the outside you
cant tell but it won't leak and doesn't rely on a bronze construction for shafts to ride in. Second is to design the valve cages to be pressed in from the
bottom of the head. This way the fit isn't as critical and the cages wont be spit out.

Second, The drawings will be laid out like Bob laid out the Peewee. I was trying to stay true to his style of drawings. That being said there will be more
information in the form of assembly drawings and notes up the wazoo.

As I get entire assemblies completed I will send you updates I have made a few pieces so far here and there so maybe something soon.
