I am a retired tool and Die maker. I was fortunate enough to purchase a lot of machine tools through my working life. I knew I was not going to sit and watch TV after retirement.

 Love to build Model Engines. Make a lot of mistakes along the way, but keep at it with the help of people like R Washburn SIC Articles (I have the whole set) and other contributors, of model engine construction articles.

I have a small section of my garage converted to a Machine Shop.  Spend a lot of time there. California weather helps a lot.

 I read a lot of the articles on the Internet about engines. Of course look at a lot of Engine pictures also.

 It is good to be with people like you who talk the same language as I.
