9/25/2006Here are a few pics of my combo Lathe/Mill it is a shop Fox 12" X 40" with a milling head mounted in the center. I will try to send a few more pics when the shop is finished being rearranged. It is a disaster right now. I also have an Atlas 6" X 18" lathe, old but still in good shape. Mainly used for smaller jobs. I also have a horizontal metal cutting band saw. Welding equipment, Miller Tig & ac/dc stick, also a Miller 250 amp MiG. I have a large shop, 30' by 26' and has a full wood working setup, Table, radial arm saws, band saw, planer, joiner, wood lathe etc.
Some of my hobbies are Miniature IC engines, Radio control gas boats, rc aircraft. I also build and repair motorcycles. Currently ride a Honda Valkyrie Interstate. Current IC projects, Atkinson Cycle engine, almost complete, just needs polishing and painting. Also started a Silver Eagle, it is about 50% done.
What I do for a living, I work for Bombardier and maintain and repair the monorail systems at Tampa Int. Airport. Mechanical and electronic repair are just a few of my duties.
